Where to find us in Crown Isle
444 Lerwick Rd, Suite 220, on the second floor of the Crown Isle Professional Centre. We are at the corner of Lerwick and Ryan Road in the Crown Isle Shopping Centre complex, next to Thrifty Foods. Take the elevator or the stairs to the second floor and we are straight ahead. That puts us within a few minutes of most of east Courtenay, including South Lerwick and Aberdeen Heights on either side of Lerwick Road, and Valley View Estates just north.

The practice has served the Comox Valley since 1996 and moved into the Crown Isle Professional Centre in 2016. Dr. Colleen Greiner led it for years before selling to Dr. Ritika Sharma in 2021, and she still practises here as associate. That is the part worth knowing: the practice changed hands without changing hands on you.

For adults, the comprehensive exam and the cleaning are two separate one-hour appointments, exam first. It is a slower start than some clinics offer, and it is deliberate: the dentist assesses everything properly before any hygiene work begins. For patients under 18, the exam and cleaning happen together in one combined visit.

What happens at a first visit for an adult?
For adults, the comprehensive exam and the cleaning are two separate one-hour appointments, and the exam comes first. That gives the dentist time to assess everything properly before any hygiene work begins, so nothing is rushed and nothing gets missed.

Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?
Yes. If you have a dental emergency, call 250-338-2599 as early in the day as possible. We accommodate same-day consultations for toothaches, broken and chipped teeth, abscesses, lost fillings and knocked-out teeth.
Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation for patients who find dental treatment stressful. Both are available for adults and children. Tell us when you book so we can arrange it in advance.
Which other neighbourhoods do you serve?
Closest to us are the east Courtenay neighbourhoods: Crown Isle, South Lerwick, Aberdeen Heights, Valley View Estates and the wider Courtenay East area. Beyond that, patients come to us from across the Comox Valley, including Comox, Cumberland, Royston, Union Bay, Fanny Bay, Merville, Black Creek, Lazo, and Denman and Hornby Islands. Being on the Ryan Road side of town makes us straightforward to reach from the highway and from the Comox side of the valley.
